About Me

Kyle Rose has been an artist almost as long as they’ve been a nerd. Their work is shaped by a deep interest in pop culture, childhood fandoms, and the visual language cultivated through their career as an Art Director.

Bold color, graphic clarity, and tongue-in-cheek references to popular culture define their practice. Drawing from 90s animation, comics, toys, games, packaging, ephemera, and functional art, they often turn those formats into the work itself. Comics, stickers, prints, and ephemera become both artwork and functional artifacts.

Kyle holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Western Michigan University and studied illustration and cartooning at the School of Visual Arts. From 2014 to 2024, they co-edited Emanata: A Comics Anthology and continue to self-publish independent comics.
